Meet our winning couple the new Mr & Mrs Amis - Mat & Stacey!
Mat and Stacey set a date for June 15th 2012 at Stacey's dream fairy tale wedding location, Leasowe Castle. Everything was booked, guests had been invited, dresses had been tried and the couple were ecstatic about finally tying the knot. Then sadly Mat was made redundant and the financial strain of supporting a family whilst paying for their dream wedding forced them to cancel their special day. As you can imagine, they were devastated. June 15th this year was a very tough and sad day for the couple.
So, Juice FM and Leasowe Castle were delighted to choose this deserving couple as the overall winners of the Wedding in a Week competition, making their marital dreams come true and giving them the wedding they so sadly had to cancel.
It was in the hands of our winning Groom Mat to organise the dream day in just one week! With a little help from Stacey's sister Lindsey and a lot of help from many local suppliers who donated their time and services Mat was able to pull off a truly magical day for the love of his life.
The couple were married in Leasowe Castle's stunning Castle Suite on Sunday 2nd September in front of very proud friends and family.
