There are many unsung heroes based in Knowsley so the KHT Community Achievement Awards give those people the chance to shine and be the centre of attention at this glittering prestigious event.
The awards will be held at the Huyton Suites on Tuesday 18th September and hosted by Juice FM’s Adam Weighell and Leanne Campbell.
We need your help to nominate individuals or groups in the following categories:
Both these awards are open to non-KHT residents however all nominees must live in the Knowsley area.

This category is open to all Knowsley residents up to the age of (and including) 18 years old. They don’t have to be a KHT tenant.
KHT and Juice FM are looking to celebrate Knowsley’s young residents with this award. Does someone you know go the extra mile for your community? Who is a good neighbour? Or volunteers? Maybe they run a sports or activity club? Nominate someone who stands out from the crowd!
Young people tend to have a negative reputation in the media but we want to change that. We know there are some outstanding young role models in Knowsley and we want to shout about them!

Being green is more important than ever! As such this category is brand new to this year’s Achievement Awards.
This category is all about celebrating being green and KHT want to reward someone who goes out of their way to help do this. The winner of this category could be someone who recycles, grows their own veg, actively looks at reducing their carbon footprint, teaches the importance of being green to others or anything similar that ticks the green box!
This category is also open to all Knowsley residents.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 17th August 2012 at 4pm.
