Juice currently broadcasts to Liverpool's 18-34 year olds, and we're proud to say that we play more music than any other station. But we're not just a pretty face - as well as winning the arqiva marketing award for WKD Reddies Juice FM has been nominated for the New York Festival Awards for two of its features - Greg in Ethiopia, and the News team's What Are You Getting Into? These were social action pieces focusing respectively on the issues of Live 8 and binge drinking. And it's not all serious though, we've had fun of course with promotions like The Juice FM Fugitive, Cash Bomb, and the WKD Challenge.
Juice music is always spot on, and that's down to the way we select it. Juice listeners are invited to join Music Control, which is really a panel rating the tunes our team select. If the audience don't like it we don't put it on!
Juice is truly a station for Liverpool, reflecting the vibrant lifestyle that is an integral part of our Capital of Culture city. Every weeknight Juice plays specialist music: this includes funky house, garage, scouse house, trance, chilled, and of course eclectic (which covers just about everything else). We also go live from several club nights every week.
